Data first
Articles on goals2026.org are grounded in our own match database — results, events, standings and per-player statistics licensed from professional sports data providers and collected throughout the tournament. When an article quotes a number, it is computed from that database, and time-sensitive figures state the date they were correct. We do not republish statistics scraped from other websites.
How AI is used — and disclosed
This site uses AI in two clearly separated ways:
- Match predictions are AI-generated by design and labeled as such wherever they appear. The full methodology is public: How our AI predictions work.
- Articles may be drafted with AI assistance, working from our database and an outline. Every article is reviewed, fact-checked against the database and edited by a human before publication, and is published under the name of the person who takes responsibility for it.
We do not publish unreviewed AI output as editorial content, and we do not use AI to fabricate quotes, injuries, team news or any information not present in our data.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, we fix the article and note the correction at the bottom of the page. Factual errors reported via the contact page are reviewed against the database and corrected promptly. Live data (scores, match minutes, statistics) can occasionally lag or misreport during matches; the database is reconciled against final official data after full time.
Independence
goals2026.org is not affiliated with FIFA, any federation, club, player, bookmaker or betting service. Advertising, where shown, is served by third-party networks and has no influence on predictions or editorial content. Predictions are entertainment, not betting advice, and the site carries no sponsored tips.
